This ram can do 220Mhz at 1:1 divider (but @ 3-4-4-4-10-2T) but I haven't figured out exactly how to get it stable at 5:6 divider (which would set CPU FSB at 260Mhz for a speed of 2.34 Ghz) at same loose memory timings.  Maxed out VDIMM supported by the BIOS (2.8v) already.

just got my core 2 duo up and going and i'm extremely satisfied with the performance. overclocking was a no-brainer, i have had a lot of experience overclocking through the years from my p3 450 way back in 1999 -> athlon thunderbird -> athlon xp barton core -> a64 3000+ & a64 3700+, and never had i experienced anything like this. right out of the box and with just changing a few bios options i got a 1ghz oc, wtf!

http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=143484
this is just the tip of the iceberg.

the only thing i'm concerned with is that i get 50C to 55C (stock hsf) even without strenuous tasks. i removed and reseated the hsf a couple of times but i still get the same temps each time. is this normal?

my setup:
e6300
ga-965p-s3
2x512 geil ddr2-800

Ryzen 7 7100 | Fatality ASRock X370 Gaming K4 | 2x8GB TridentZ RGB 3200 | GTX 980 Ti 6GB OC | 250GB Samsung 850 Evo SSD  + 4TB Storage | 27" Dell U2713H @ 2560x1440

@thedud3

saw your post sa tpc and after that i tried it myself and luckily it worked hopefully it does fine when i have my other 1gb replaced so i can run dual chan...

we have pretty much the same setup im also getting those kind of temps... im planning to just use stock cooling heheh pwede nayun para 1:1 lang heheh... though my temps go down after i turn off orthos and do some normal stuff...

also did you notice any real difference from 1.86 to 2.8ghz? for me i really do much test but i would say no hehe...

what bios are you using? sorry dami tanong

3ghz ok nako basta stock cooling lang...

you wouldn't notice any performance increase when doing normal stuff, though superpi @ stock gave me 29 secs. while when bumped up to 2.8ghz i got 20secs! i also tried scanning for virus(e-trust anti-virus), spyware(ewido), watching videos(windvd7) and running photoshop and at the same time and the e6300 didn't miss a beat - loading photoshop and huge images took a while though due to the disk activity of the virus/spyware scans but once they were loaded you wouldn't notice the other programs running in the background.

@^_^japol, theDUD3

ganda combination ng components ninyo ;)

e6300 + S3/DS3 + 2GB(dual) DDR2 800
