I'm not particularly keen on spending money to see cowboys discover manly love so I guess bareback mountain is off my list of must-see movies LOL

M3, with Tom Cruise again..oh please don't get me started on that again

Hey that clint eastwood Iwo Jima film is really interesting. I'm looking forward to that.

Lovers of gory movies should watch out for these:

Wolf Creek (wasn't shown here i think)
Slither
Hostel
The Hills Have Eyes

all of these deal with psychopaths and a group of people lost in a remote land.

My most anticipated film at the moment is Proof.

Maganda yung Iwo Jima. Two movies for the price of one. One story from the viewpoint of an American, another from the perspective of a Japanese.

Jarhead was ok, but not really my type of movie. Gives us a better insight on a marine's life.

Brokeback Mountain was... hmm... a film of another level.

yes it was about a gay couple but the story/film was more than that.

ang ganda ni Anne Hathaway at Kate Mara...hehe.

I saw Underworld: Evolution last friday. Like the first, I didn't like it except for the character of Kate Beckinsale. This time around, there's more to love in Selene because she took off her latex.

I would recommend Lord of War as well. Brokeback Mountain...well I won't say it's a bad film because I haven't seen it. I would assume it's good. But I've seen two guys kissing ona train already and, seeing that, significantly lowered my self-esteem and caused GI refluxes.

Anticipated Films:
V for Vendetta
X3
Commando 2

For those who love chick flicks, i suggest Just Like Heaven.

not entirely a 'Ghost' rip-off.

i just saw brokeback mountain and almost all scenes seemed like watching  the travel channel.anyway,it is very good.it deserves the award.bigotry aside, everyone should watch it,that is what films should do,take you on a roller coaster ride, travel through vistas figuratively of course and literally in this case,to take us away from our monotonous lives(i suppose)...

I've been wanting to see Brokeback Mountain being that I'm a fan of Ang Lee's work (yes, including Hulk).

If not for that, it would've been a tough sell to me too.

Good thing it's getting good reviews. That means if I have to endure certain scenes, it'll all be worth the trouble. Anyway I'm sure it'll much more than a gender-confused love story.

Syriana is good.
Munich
Dirty - Cuba gooding Jr.
8 Below - nice Siberian Dog movie

Date Movie - from  the writers of Scary Movie

Apocalypto - by Mel Gibson looks promising.

the Libertine - Johnny Depp

Flight 93 - 911 movie
http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/flight93/

Superman Returns
doubtful about this. I'll just rent it when it comes out in DVD
http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/supermanreturns/

Click - Adam Sandlers - Could be good for a laugh
http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/click/

I just wait for movies to come out in DVDs here so I can rent them. Very expensive cinemas here.
