if you hit 165Mhz and unstable, I'm afraid you can't push your RAM that high since the CPU will conk out even before you hit a pretty good high frequency for the RAM.

at 54-56c, you're pretty hot already. i suggest you review your case ventilation, and of course, your room ventilation. no need for costly aircon, and don't place a fan to blow inside the case. A nice circulating air within the room, with a good path/exhaust for the escaping hot air will be sufficient.

as for the vtt, this is the main reason why i skipped Abit. vtt is buggy with Abit, I'm not sure with the later releases, but early ones report a wrong value. guides on vtt mod abound so it's up to you to try and mod your board.

pbatacan, not sure of the actual specs of your CPU but you can check out some details of your CPU here:

http://processorfinder.intel.com/scripts/list.asp?ProcFam=483&CorSpd=ALL&SysBusSpd=ALL&PkgType=ALL

You can also check your CPU's box if you still have it...

oo nga ano? hehe. my temps arent too high. 33 idle 45 load. ung sa ram ko naman, Im using AM1 ddr333. pero umabot siya sa 378. i can hit higher than that pero I have to relax my memory timings. pero ayaw ko eh. tama na cguro toh hehe. 1.8 to 2.5 na ako. I'll stay here muna. meron pa akong problema sa bagong mobo ko. ung bios eh sana i flash ko to the lates version

isa pa. ung version 2.80 nakalagay dun sa website nila na SiSoft Sandra and AIDA testing utilities should work correctly. pero ndi parin. it will take mga 1 minute bgo maka access ang cpuz. minsan pa nga hindi eh. so pls help me kung i flash ko bah or ndi. kasi bka masira nanaman. ano bah din mas maganda gamitin? gf2 mx400 or intel extreme graphics? sorry OT ako ha.

ndi bah masyadong mataas ang vcore na 1.6? kasi i want to push it pa eh pero ndi ko malalaman realtime temps ko kasi nga merong problema mag access ang mga testing utilities dito sa P4I45GV. so pls help! thanks a lot!!! aasahan ko reply ninyo

ok lang bah i relax ang memory to 2-3-3-6 or 2.5-3-3-7? or even 2.5-3-3-8? malaki bah impact nito? kung mataas na latency?

1.8v is a tad high for a northwood...the best way is to check your sSpec, look it up at Intel's web and check the rated voltage. if 1.7v is the stock vCore, you can try 1.8v, but of course, when you touch the vCore you should know that no matter how little you add, there's always the danger of killing your CPU. it's just the consequence of overvolting....

i'd stick with the best stable OC at stock vCore....

SL6SN Philippines. I love this baby!

100Mhz more para 1 gig overclock. pero ndi na ata kaya ng cpu ko. maski 1.8 na ndi na aakyat. my mem is not the bneck ksi i set it to 1:1 ratio. di na talaga. kaya balik ko 3:4

Asrock P4i45GV

ito na ako ngaun. naabot ko na pina ka taas na OC ng CPU ko. Im sure hinihingal na itoh!
