hanging/restarting/temp problems
« on: August 06, 2006, 07:35:29 PM »
good day mga peeps!

medyo same problem ko kay torothebull..... our computer keeps hanging up or minsan biglang nagrerestart.... kahit kakabukas pa lang minsan, sa login screen pa lang... minsan kakaload pa lang ng desktop....

at first kala ko memory, i tried using the 1st 512mb hang pa rin... then yung 2nd 512mb, hang pa din after awhile.... 'la naman bad sector/error yung hd kahit lagi akong scandisk... then i thought baka windows ang problem... so i format the hd, then re-installed everything.... okay sya after one whole day, then kinabukasan hang up na naman....

then nagduda ko sa temp niya, from 42ºc, bigla syang jump around 50ºc+ using photoshop and winamp only..... nagpalit ako ng hsf same sa stock hsf ng p4.... okay sya ng 3 days, after 4 days ganun ulit....

ano kaya problem?!

Ano ang motherboard brand?
kung Asus iyan, try reading my post in torothebulls thread.

hindi naman problematic sa power and specs mo. kung HEC 300, i would think kayang kaya iyan.

BTW, how long have you had the system at those specs before the problems started to manifest?  Maybe you made a hardware change and soon after, nagka-problem na. If so, could you tell us about it?
Pentax Menyek
Pentax K20D, Pentax DA40, Pentax DA70, Takumar 70-200/F4; soon to come Pentax-F 28/2.8

PC? nakikita mo ba akong nagpo-post tungkol sa PC?

di kaya sa drivers ng hardware mo? try mo mag reformat then yung pinaka latest na drivers ang install mo.

If your standard hardware troubleshooting doesn't seem to indicate any hardware problems, check the software.

It could be some Windows system files are slightly corrupted. I mentioned a "Windows keeps restarting" thread and after quite some time of troubleshooting, it turned out to be a very minor Windows Registry corruption (but enough to cause system to reboot).
