tulong naman jan.. hehe

scenario: merong akong friend na may laptop, and pinacheck sakin.. kasi hindi sya makaconnect sa net at may lumalabas na error everytime na boot ng laptop... "The TCP/IP network transport is not installed".. eto ung error message.. everytime na mgttry magconnect sa net (using external modem) eto rin lalabas na error...

sabi sakin, sinaksakan daw ng smart amazing phone dati, then ung pag gamit nya ganun na..so chinek ko sa "My Computer" at meron dun "Mobile" Devices", pag try ko iopen un, eto naman lumalabas na error,

"Critical communication services have failed to start. To correct this error, exit all application and restart windows. If the problem persist, please reinstall ActiveSync ny running setup from installation disk."

The problem is, wala ako installation disk ng OS and baka meron jan nakaexperience nito, at baka meron konting kalikot na makaayos nito.. ngayon ko lang rin kasi naexperience ung ganitong error.. i hope na meron makatulong... tnx in advance

btw, ung laptop is Dell and P3 pa ung proc, so mejo luma na.. w/ 128MB.. tnx

What's the operating system of that computer? Kasi different operating system has different approach of installing tcp/ip.

delete all tcp/ip sa network neighborhood right click, go to properties).  Reboot.  add/install tcp/ip sa network neighborhood.  You *MIGHT* need the win me install cd, unless there's one in the laptops hdd.
I don't have a sig.  Wouldn't know what to put even if I had one.
