little help from the pros..



the problem is, when i tried to play any game, about 5-15 min of playing it quits automatically and goes back to my desktop w/o any error messages.



any suggestions or tips???



btw SYSINFO:

OS: Win XP Home Ed

Processor: AMD Athlon(TM) XP 2200+ (not OC'ed)

Video Adapter: Inno3d GF4 Ti4200 128MB AGP8x TV-Dvi

Memory: 512MB DDR333

DX Version : DX 9.0

Mobo: ASUS A7V333 (AGP4X only)

HDD: 40G Seagate 7200rpm

kung generic 300/350W PSU gamit mo, malamang PSU ang problema. based pa lang sa specs mo, hirap na ang generic 300/350W PSU dyan. kuha ka na lng HEC 350W PSU. check mo rin CPU temp, memory timings and kung umiikot pa fan nun vidcard mo.

my question lng po ako, kasi sa dxdiag nkalagay DX9.0 pero pgchnek ko sa settings ng video card ko, it says DX8.1 lang.

does it mean something??

Do you have the latest drivers for your motherboard and video card?  Sometimes you need to reinstall your video card drivers after installing a new DX version.

Try lowering the settings on your graphics card (i.e. use AGP2X, disable Anisotropic filtering, AA, etc.) and also your motherboard memory timings (set them to the least aggressive)...  After you set them to default, try to duplicate your problem with those settings...



Also, give the suggestions above (updating drivers and DirectX) a try, and run dxdiag to see whether your configuration has any problems related to DirectX performance... HTH =)

actually, ndownload  ko na ung latest na driver ng nvidia, kaso parang masbumagal prnaglaro na ko, example ng LIVE2K3. mejo ng lalag lng ng konti kaya bumalik ako sa dati (version: 4.3.5.1). pero try ko ulit reinstall ung driver..



tska how do i set mobo mem settings?? hehe hnd ko alam e...

naalala ko, na-experienced ko rin yan when running my DDR333 @ 400MHz, auto-quit din sa NBA Live 2K3 & FT, pero adjust ko lng mem. timings from 2.5-3-3-6 to 2.5-4-3-8, wala na.

additional problem, minsan pagnglalaro ako ng game, example CnC Generals, pg mejo tumgal na mghhang, tpos lalabas ung blue screen at kung ano ano ung nkasulat. it says check ko daw video card driver, disabe daw BIOS caching or shadowing... nkadisable naman...

at kung ano ano pang numbers (stop:000000x0010 ... - example lng)



pls tulong nman...
