I would yes and No, just switched to open dns right now, and browsing loads slower unlike using PLDT DNS servers, I've been seeing a small increase in terms of browser responsiveness using PLDT but im pretty sure tom at peak hours its going to bog down again. So wala ganun tlg ka unstable ang perf. ng pldt.

That's why TG to routers. Palit lang ng DNS pag may problema.

Oh wow look im downloading Crysis Demo at 13/Kbs , im on plan 3K, lol.

torrents use ip addresses, anyhow, right? so it shouldn't.

pldt's dns servers should give faster response but more often than not they're not set up as well as opendns so even if i get higher reponse times wtih opendns, at least i get to load all the domains i go to. pldt dns servers always gave me headaches when going to dot tk sites and other domains

PLDT's DSL1 modem/router also holds an entry for DNS severs, If i input a DNS IP there and a different IP in the TCP/IP config  w/c one would be used?

This has been answered in another thread...

The DNS server specified in the Ethernet adapter currently enabled to access the internet is the one used. In Windows Oses, "ipconfig /all"(cmd prompt) shows which DNS servers are currently used.
