Batman Ninja

There are purists who will frown on non-canon stuff. There are those who like to read Shakespeare in the original Klingon.

Infinity War Rating:

8.5/10 for me. did not quite meet my expectations, but didn't ruin my childhood. in fact i left the cinema quite pleased. it delivered what it promised. thanks, disney/marvel.

How was Commercenter's cinema?
to put it shortly, quite good. and so are the people.

i noticed that when i arrived maybe 10:15 am, there was an orderly line already. the people were chatting but none too boisterous. while watching the movie everyone seemed mindful of other in the room. i inwardly groaned when a parent brought a toddler. i thought he'd go yelling with excitement most of the time, but he was surprisingly quiet and when he asked questions his mom hushed him and said something about there being other people around. when the movie ended and the lights turned on, the people actually carried their trash and tossed them in the can in front.

quite the difference in the crowd compared to where i usually watch movies (Festival Mall, SM Center Muntinlupa) where people are generally noisy, unmindful of others and unashamed litterbugs.

as for the cinema itself, yesterday there was still no posted sked on FB. so i called their number and i was told the earliest slots for the 4 cinemas so i was able to adjust my sked accordingly. the screen was clear, the sound quality was good and the seats were comfortable enough for a tall guy like me to lean back and enjoy the movie.

now, i haven't tried higher end cinemas, but at P260 per seat i think it's worth it.
